Who would have thought? Blueberries and cherries in the same pie. But they 're divine together. You 'll have to pit the cherries, but it should be a labor of love. The berries are sugared, dusted with flour and cinnamon, and dotted with butter. The oven takes care of the rest.

Simple and sweet, this cobbler will garner raves. Cherries simply go in the bottom of the pan along with some baking powder dough and a sugary cornstarch syrup. Then altogether they bake up sweet, bubbly and delicious. Serve it warm with whipped cream.
